Furniture Overload

I finally got my Mother’s furniture to my house…some has replaced my things and some is in the basement. My Mom went to an assisted living facility and this month we ( the siblings) have been clearing out the apartment.
Did I mention I was sore?

I was speaking to a customer that just did the same thing with her husbands parents…and she has a basement full. The trouble is my house is not my Mothers…so some works and then there’s the stuff in the basement.

I love to create things. I can’t stay with any one medium..I like polymer clay, Art clay, felting, fusing glass…to name a few. I started selling on Etsy a while ago. This is a great place to get beautiful handmade things…so many creative people there. If you have never shopped or browsed Etsy now is a great time. You will be amazed.

Ageing Skin

I’m ageing…I know we all are. But I’m 56 and everything is going south. I slather my face with creams and serums and if I think about it slap some lotion on my arms and legs.

I have dark spots because when I was young, getting a good tan looked “healthy”…although with tanning beds so popular I guess people still think that!
My advise to my two daughters and anyone else who asks my opinion…sunblock!
